Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Roger Irwin Computer Services collects through this website, why, who we share it with, and how you can see, correct or delete it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Contact and booking forms Your name, email address, phone number and message, and for bookings the address and time for the visit. We also record your IP address and the country it comes from, to help us spot spam.
- Orders Your name, delivery address, email address, phone number and what you ordered.
- Accounts Your name and email address. If you create an account with a password, we keep a scrambled version of it (a hash), never the password itself. If you log in with Google, Facebook or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address and an account ID from them. We never see your password for those services, and we never post anything for you.
- Phishing quiz If you're logged in, the score for each round you finish. We also count, without knowing who you are, how many people spot each warning sign, so we can improve the quiz.
- Password resets When you ask to reset your password, we record when you asked and your IP address, to stop people sending lots of reset emails.
How we use it

- To keep the website safe Blocking spam and misuse.
- To improve the website Seeing which pages are popular, using Google Analytics.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Services we use
Some information goes to these companies, which may store it overseas:

- Cloudflare The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and sees your IP address.
- PayPal If you pay online, you pay on PayPal's website. We don't see or keep your card details.
- Zoho Assist For remote support sessions you choose to join.
- Google, Facebook and Microsoft Only if you choose to log in with them.
Cookies
- Keeping you logged in A session cookie (PHPSESSID) remembers you while you use the site, and your phishing quiz round. It's removed when you close your browser.
- Your cart The Cart cookie remembers what you've added to your order.
- Your best quiz score The PhishingQuizBest cookie keeps your best score on this device for a year.

How long we keep it
We keep messages, bookings and orders for as long as we need them for your job and our records, including what the law requires us to keep for tax. Accounts and quiz scores are kept until you delete your account. Password reset records are kept for a short time.
